December 22, Fineko/abc.az. Work on the Baku Master Plan has been completed, and the document will be approved in the near future.

ABC.AZ reports that Anar Guliyev, the chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture, said about this at a press conference following the signing of the UN-Azerbaijan agreement on holding the 13th session of the World Urban Development Forum in Baku in 2026.

He added that some clarifications have been made to the Master Plan regarding the administrative borders of Baku and Sumgait.

"In the near future, the document will be submitted to the Cabinet Ministers and then approved," he emphasized.
