December 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on December 21, the demand of banks amounted to $89.7 million and was fully secured. This is $13.2 million, or 17.25% more than at the last auction. It should be noted that at the currency auction on December 19, the demand amounted to $76.5 million. Following today's auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
