December 21, Fineko/abc.az. In 11 months of 2023, Türkiye doubled crude oil imports from Azerbaijan (a rise of 99.7%), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the statistical bulletin of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

Over Jan-Nov 2023, Azerbaijan sold 1.17 million tons of crude oil to Türkiye for $661.53 million.

As the price of crude oil at world exchanges declined, a ton of crude oil sold to Türkiye this year was 12% cheaper, at $564.01 per ton. The average price was $639.34 per ton in 2022.
