December 19, Fineko/abc.az. From January to November, Azerbaijan exported 124,302 tons of tomatoes for $140,469, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee.
The export figures decreased by $10,367 (6.9%) in value terms and by 3,145 tons (2.5%) in quantitative terms.
Over Jan-Nov 2022, the country exported 127,447 tons of tomatoes for $150,836 abroad.
For the past 11 months of 2023, the export price of a ton of tomatoes was $1,130, and for 11 months of 2022 - $1,184. This year, this figure dropped by $53, or 4.5%.
Over Jan-Nov 2023, the share of tomatoes in Azerbaijan's total exports made up 0.43% and in non–oil exports - 4.63% and for Jan-Nov 2022, the share of tomatoes in total exports was 0.42%, and in non–oil exports - 5.61%.
