December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Apple will suspend the sale of Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 smartwatches in the U.S. in the coming days.

ABC.AZ reports that this relates to the consideration of a patent infringement case.

"Since December 21, Apple has been suspending sales of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 on the Apple website, after December 24, sales will stop at Apple retail stores," the company said in a statement.

The U.S. International Trade Commission concluded in October that the watch's built-in blood oxygen measurement function infringes a patent from medical technology company Masimo. The commission ruled that Apple should stop selling devices that infringe on patents.
