November 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has increased premiums and compensation payments on types of insurance, with the exception of life insurance.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the Central Bank, over Jan-Oct 2023, the premiums on this type of insurance amounted to AZN 289.384 million (AZN 38.969 million, or 15.6% more versus Jan-Oct 2022 – AZN 250.414 million).

Compensations on these types of insurance were paid for AZN 112.809 million (AZN 33.197 million, or 41.7% more than a year earlier – AZN 79.612 million).

And the loss rate was 39% for Jan-Oct 2023 (a rise of 7.2% against Jan-Oct 2022 - 31.8%).
