November 20, Fineko/abc.az. 35 new products have appeared in the export basket of Azerbaijan for the past 3 years.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani presidential aide Shahmar Movsumov said this at the Customs-Business 2023 forum organized by the State Customs Committee in Baku.

He said that transparency of the customs system, simplification of procedures and optimization of expenses have led to increase in participants in foreign economic activity and budget revenues.

"In 2015-2022, non-oil exports grew 2.3-fold. At that, there was increase in the names of exported goods in the non-oil sector. Out of 5,700 items of goods, 1,990 are exported and 1,234 are for continuous export. Over the past 3 years, share of inorganic chemicals and plastics products in the export of non-oil products has increased."
