November 3, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan State Budget Package for 2024 was discussed at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committees on Legal Policy and State Building, on Defense, Security & Anti-Corruption, on Human Rights, on International & Inter-Parliamentary Relations.

ABC.AZ reports that Accounts Chamber’s chair Vugar Gulmammadov said about this, delivering speech during the meeting. He added that next year it is planned to increase the cost of servicing the public debt by AZN 790.1 million.

ACA chair noted that analysis shows that the main part of this is linked with change in the approach to debt accounting. So, unlike this year, payments on guaranteed loans were excluded from the project, and payments of the main debt on external public debt are included in expenses (AZN 850 million). At that, interest expenses on government bonds placed on domestic financial markets increased by AZN 235 million compared with the previous year.
