November 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) discussed the state of the financial and banking sector, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA.

The meeting with the IMF delegation led by the head of the mission for Azerbaijan, the Middle East & Central Asia, Anna Bordeaux, took place in the Central Bank. The sides exchanged views on the macroeconomic situation in the country, monetary policy, inflation expectations, and the state of the financial and banking sector.

The meeting participants also discussed the current state and future directions of cooperation between the two structures.
