November 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has decided to reduce the discount rate from November 2 to 8.5% from 9%.

ABC.AZ reports that according to CBA’s report, the lower threshold of the interest rate corridor has been cut to 7% from 7.5%, the upper one to 9.5% from 10%.

Before that, the CBA kept the discount rate unchanged for 3 consecutive meetings.

The next time the CBA will discuss the issue of the discount rate is on December 20.
