October 31, Fineko/abc.az. Nine out of the 24 banks operating in Azerbaijan observed the reduction on liabilities as of October 1, 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Azər-Türk Bank, Turan Bank, Azerbaijan Industrial Bank, Bank Eurasia, International Bank of Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan Bank, Premium Bank and Muğan Bank, as well as the Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran.

The largest decrease was recorded on the Bank of Iran (27.4%) and the smallest on Azər-Türk Bank (0.1%).

The remaining 15 banks have increased their liabilities. The highest dynamics was recorded on Zıraat Bank Azərbaycan (80.1%) and the lowest on Bank VTB Azərbaycan (0.6%).
