Taleh Kazimov: Transition to open banking and then to open financing is CBA goal

October 26, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 9 months of 2023, transactions carried out through Internet banking increased by 15% versus Jan-Sept 2022 and reached 172 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that Central Bank’s chairman Taleh Kazimov said about this during his speech at the event "Critical Infrastructure Defense Challenge 2023".

"Transactions through mobile banking have grown 2.4-fold over this period. The formation of the transition from closed banking to open and open financing is the main goal of the CBA. This makes it important to strengthen the work to be done in the field of cybersecurity," Kazimov added.
