For comparison, for Q4 of last year, the company made profit of $4.09 bn, or $1.93 per share.

While economists expected 4th-quarter earnings of $2.24 per share.

Revenues in the 4th quarter was $8.61 bn, exceeding expectations of $8.55 bn.
