October 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Russia has decided to suspend the issuance of a new 1000-ruble banknote. 

ABC.AZ reports that changes will be made to the design of the banknote.

The Russian Central Bank presented this banknote on October 16. Its reverse side depicts the Palace Church in the Kazan Kremlin, built in the 17th century. Now the building houses the Museum of the History of the Statehood of the Tatar People and the Republic of Tatarstan. There is no cross on the dome of the church.
