October 9, Fineko/abc.az. In early autumn, the ruble became the most undervalued currency of G20 countries.

ABC.AZ reports that according to calculations, the ruble exchange rate at purchasing power parity is about 33 rubles per dollar.

"According to the rating of G20 countries by the cost of a combo lunch of burger, fries and a glass of cola, the cheapest lunch is in Russia, and the most expensive is in Germany. Based on these data, the agency calculated the exchange rate of national currencies based on purchasing power against the US dollar," the calculations say.

With such indicators, the dollar should be traded for 33 rubles, and not for 100, as it is now.

At that, the stock market expert noted that there is high purchasing power parity in Russia.

According to agency's calculations, rupees and yuan are also undervalued. Their official rate is almost twice as high as the PPP.
