October 4, Fineko/abc.az. Investments of insurance companies increased by 10.7% compared with the end of 2022, ABC.AZ informs with reference to CBA Financial Stability Report for the 1st half of 2023.

The report says that after the growth, the volume of investments of insurance companies reached AZN 1.404 million.

The growth occurred mainly due to government securities (19.8% or AZN 125 million).

In general, the investment portfolio makes up 90% of the assets of life insurance companies and 65% of the assets of non-life insurance companies.

In life insurance and non-life insurance companies, investment assets consist mainly of state securities and bank funds.

An increase in the range of domestic financial instruments is necessary for investment activities of insurance companies.
