September 26, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan received net profit of AZN 724.2 million for Jan-Aug 2023 (22.9% more versus Jan-Aug 2022 – AZN 589.4 million of net profit), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Banks’ operating profit for this period increased by 25.2% up to AZN 1.064 million.

For the past 8 months of 2023, the banks paid income tax for AZN 187.4 million.
