Azerbaijan’s direct investments in Turkiye significantly reduced

September 15, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign direct investments from Azerbaijan into the Turkish economy in the first 6 months of the year amounted to $43.58 million.

ABC.AZ reports that FDIs decreased by 27% year-on-year.

FDI is investor's investment of capital in an enterprise of another state in an amount that allows them to influence the management of this enterprise.

Direct investment is carried out mainly by multinational corporations. The reason why multinational corporations invest in other countries is that they make more profit than when investing in their own country. This takes into account not only profitability, but also investment risk. These risks can be both economic and political, they vary depending on various factors.
