September 15, Fineko/abc.az. As a result of Accounts Chamber’s control measures for Jan-Aug 2023, amount of excessive expenses, as well as unaccounted payments to the budget amounted to AZN 91.6 million, ABC.AZ reports, quoting ACA chairman Vugar Gulmammadov.

He noted that it was decided to recoup AZN 39.6 million of this amount in the State Budget:

"Information about the amount exceeding AZN 28.5 million on 9 materials has been sent to law enforcement agencies for investigation. A decision was made to suspend production in connection with the amount above AZN 23.5 million, for which no decision was made on compensation. The lack of a decision to reimburse these expenses more relates to social payments.”
