September 14, Fineko/abc.az. The European Central Bank (ECB) has decided to raise three key interest rates by 25 basis points, ABC.AZ reports with a link to the regulator's message.

The base interest rate has been increased to 4.5% per annum, the deposit rate to 4%, and the ECB's short-term loans to 4.75%.

"The rate increase reflects the inflation forecast in the light of incoming economic and financial data, the dynamics of core inflation and the effectiveness of monetary policy," the ECB said.
