September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Gold prices in Asia have unexpectedly risen.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that the measures taken by the largest central banks of Asia against the growth of the dollar in order to protect their currency are indicated as the cause.

As a result, gold rose in price amid a cheaper dollar after an eight-week uptrend.

Currently, gold is sold at price of $1,925 per ounce.
