August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Chinese banks are considering additional discounts on deposit interest to support growth.

State-owned banks, wishing to support the economy and maintain profit margins in China, have thought about lowering deposit rates for the third time this year, ABC.AZ reports citing foreign press.

China's Industrial and Commercial Bank, Construction Bank of China and other banks are considering a 5 to 20 basis point discount on their local currency deposits at prime maturities.
