August 24, Fineko/abc.az. Several banks operating in Azerbaijan allocated less to special reserves in the first half of this year than in the same period last year.
International Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC (ABB), Kapital Bank, Eurasia Bank, Mugan Bank and Rabitabank, as well as Access Bank CJSC and Yapi Kredit Bank Azerbaycan reduced allocations to special reserves, ABC.AZ reports.
The largest decrease was recorded in Rabitabank (90.1%), the smallest in Access Bank (3.2%).
Three banks - Express Bank OJSC, Bank Respublika OJSC and Azerbaijan Industrial Bank OJSC - allocated funds to special reserves in January-June of this year, saved for the same period last year, and five banks - Premium Bank OJSC, Naxcivan Bank OJSC, OJSC Bank BTB, Xalq Bank OJSC and Yelo Bank OJSC - in the first half of this year saved on special reserves, allocated funds for the same period last year. Therefore, it was impossible to calculate the dynamics of deductions/savings of these banks on special reserves.
