August 22, Fineko/abc.az. Crypto exchange Binance has stopped hosting and withdrawing funds in euros for the European Union (EU) due to problems with the payment provider.

According to ABC.AZ, citing foreign press, the exchange has allegedly suspended the withdrawal and deposit of funds in euros through SEPA, Binance support said in a now-deleted message on X (formerly Twitter) on August 20.

In the post, the cryptocurrency exchange said it did not have a specific timeline for restoring SEPA transfers, adding that its payment provider "can no longer support these transactions."
