August 22, Fineko/abc.az. S&P Global Ratings downgraded the ratings of some US regional banks two weeks after a similar move by Moody's Investors Service.

ABC.AZ reports that the ratings of KeyCorp, Comerica Inc., Valley National Bancorp, UMB Financial Corp. and Associated Banc-Corp were cut by one notch due to high interest rates and an outflow of deposits. Forecasts of changes in the ratings are stable.

The agency changed the outlook on River City Bank and S&T Bank to Negative and maintained a Negative outlook on Zions Bancorp.

The ratings of all indicated banks range from BBB- to BBB+.
