August 21, Fineko/abc.az. JDE Peet's will stop selling Tassimo and Moccona brands in Russia, and the Jacobs brand will be renamed Monarch, company CEO Fabien Simon told the Wall Street Journal on Saturday.
According to ABC.AZ, when commenting on the renaming of the Jacobs brand in Russia, Simon called such a decision "not risk-free", as the company has already lost its share of the Russian market after the suspension of its advertising campaign in the country. He believes that changing the name of a familiar coffee brand to Monarch will will exacerbate the situation.
