August 21, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish construction companies have implemented projects worth $97.9 billion in Russia, as evidenced by the data from the country's Ministry of Trade since 1972, according to which Russia accounts for 20.3% of all projects of Turkish contractors abroad.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to TASS that as of the end of July 2023, Turkish construction companies completed 11,768 projects worth $482 billion over this period in 134 countries, Anadolu agency reports citing statistics from the ministry.

Russia is followed by Turkmenistan, where Turkish builders have implemented projects worth $50.8 billion, that's 10.6% of their total volume. The third place is taken by Iraq, where the cost of implemented projects is estimated at $33.2 billion.
