August 21, Fineko/abc.az. Of the 24 banks operating in Azerbaijan, one had no operating profit in the first half of this year.

According to ABC.AZ, Muğan Bank OJSC sustained an operating loss, with the amount of damage making AZN 1.293 million,.

The remaining 23 banks received operating profit in various amounts. The figure exceeds AZN 30 million in five of them. These banks are International Bank of Azerbaijan OJSC (AZN 244.593 million), Kapital Bank OJSC (AZN 214.228 million), PASHA Bank OJSC (AZN 131.636 million), Xalq Bank OJSC (AZN 37.968 million) and Unibank OJSC (AZN 31.954 million).

Of the remaining 18, the operating profit varies between AZN 10 million to AZN 30 million in six banks, AZN 1 million to AZN 10 million in nine banks, and less than AZN 1 million in three banks.
