Volume of gas sold abroad in 2023 reaches 13.8 billion cubic meters

In seven months of 2023, gas sales abroad amounted to 13.8 billion cubic meters, which is 7% more than in the same period last year.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the report of the Ministry of Energy, this year 6.6 billion cubic meters of gas were sold to Europe, 5.8 billion cubic meters to Türkiye and 1.4 billion cubic meters to Georgia.

During this time, 3.3 billion cubic meters of gas was supplied to Türkiye through TANAP.

From the moment the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli and Shah Deniz fields were put into operation until August 01 this year, 211 billion cubic meters of gas were produced from ACG, and 198 billion cubic meters from Shah Deniz. During this period, about 139.9 billion cubic meters of gas produced at the Shah Deniz field was exported.
