Those who travel abroad with plastic cards already need to pay attention to the changes. According to the new rules, which came into force on August 9, with the help of payment cards issued in Azerbaijan, resident individuals will be able to withdraw cash outside the country in the amount of up to $10,000 within a month, economic expert Vugar Bayramov said.

According to ABC.AZ, he said that it means the owner of a card purchased from an Azerbaijani bank cannot cash out more than $10,000 during a month of stay abroad. In this regard, it is important that our citizens who need cash during their trips abroad take this limit into account in advance. According to another change, daily limits on amounts transferred by individuals outside the country for personal purposes were canceled and replaced with monthly ones. In these cases, it will be possible to make payments up to $20,000. At the same time, this expense is also provided as an opportunity for citizens to pay for transportation and hotel expenses associated not only with their trips abroad, but also with trips of other persons.
