The manufacturing industry generated goods and provided industrial services worth AZN 4948.0 million in January-June of this year.
ABC.AZ reports citing the Baku city Department of Statistics that that the sectors of food, beverages and tobacco production generated products worth AZN 1,006.9 million.

Food production increased by 30.1%, beverage production rose by 13.9%, and the production of tobacco products decreased by 22.7% year-on-year.

The production of sausages among the main products of these industries increased by 17.3%, while the production of cheese and cottage cheese fell by 14.2% year-on-year.
