Double-digit decline in trade with China

China's trade saw a double-digit decline in both imports and exports in July.

ABC.AZ reports, citing China's Statistical Bureau, that China's trade in July fell more than expected, with exports falling by 14.5% and imports dropping by 12.4%. This does not meet the expectations of economists, according to which exports will fall by 12.5%, and imports will drop by 5%.

According to customs data from China, the trade surplus was $80.6 billion, which raised expectations to $70.3 billion. China increased its trade balance with the United States from $28.16 billion to $28.72 billion.
