Individuals made 87.3% and legal entities and other organizations accounted for 12.7% of the 1,470,533 taxpayers registered in the country as of August 1 of this year.

A source in the State Tax Service told ABC.AZ that the total number of taxpayers rose by 7.3% compared to January-July of 2022, including a 7% increase in the number of individual taxpayers and a 9.3% increase in legal entities.

The number of commercial organizations that passed the state registration made 169,751, which marks a 10% increase year-on-year.
