August 3, Fineko/abc.az. The revised expenditures of the State Budget for 2023 are expected to reach AZN 36.624 bn (9.8% more than the initial forecast figure), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance. 

As a financial guarantee of this increase in expenditures, State Budget 2023 revenues were increased by AZN 3.116 bn (including transfer from the State Oil Fund for AZN 457.7 million), and the deficit for AZN 155 million.

Besides, additional financial support in the amount of AZN 1.122 bn was created within the budget expenditures due to optimization and shifting of some of the approved expenditures of the State Budget. 
The country's defense spending was also increased from AZN 2.7 bn up to AZN 3.7 bn.
