Meta's net profit grew by 16% for Q2

July 27, Fineko/abc.az. Meta Platforms (U.S.), which owns the world's largest social network Facebook, increased net profit by 16% in the 2nd quarter, revenue by 11%, both indicators were better than experts' expectations.

ABC.AZ reports that Meta's net profit in April-June amounted to $7.788 bn, or $2.98 per share, compared to $6.687 bn, or $2.46 per share, for the same period of 2022.

Revenue increased by 11% and reached $31.999 bn against $28.822 bn a year earlier. Excluding changes in exchange rates, the indicator grew by 12%.

The number of daily active users (DAU) of Facebook in the last quarter reached 2.06 billion people, the figure increased by 5% this year. The number of monthly active users (MAU) grew by 3% to 3.03 billion people.
