July 26, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) sees no risks for the closure of the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran.
ABC.AZ reports that CBA chairman of board Taleh Kazimov said about this during a press conference on changes in the parameters of the discount rate.
He added that the financial indicators of Bank Melli Iran are quite high as well as the liquidity.
"We believe all banks should conduct their activities in accordance with Azerbaijani legislation, as well as the established requirements of the regulator," he noted.
