July 26, Fineko/abc.az. By the decision of the Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the discount rate has been kept at 9%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that the lower threshold of the percentage corridor is maintained at 7.5% and the upper one at 10%.

The decision to keep the discount rate at 9% was made taking into account the conducted macroeconomic analyses, updated forecasts, changes in the factors of internal and external inflation and the balance of risks.

The CBA had previously raised the discount rate 5-fold in a row - each time by 25 bps: the last time the Central Bank raised the discount rate from May 4, 2023 - by 25 bps - to 9% and in June it kept it at 9%.

The next time the CBA will discuss the issue of the discount rate on September 20.
