July 21, Fineko/abc.az. The industrial zones of Azerbaijan have registered 57 residents with investments for $3.959 bn and creation of 12,000 permanent jobs, ABC.AZ was informed at the Economic Zone Development Agency.

Thus, 28 residents invested $3.29 bn in the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park and created 8,185 jobs.

A resident, registered in the Garadagh Industrial Park, invested $498 million in the Baku Shipyard and created more than 2,000 jobs.

Besides, residents of the Agdam Industrial Park are 16 economic entities that invested a total of $36.3 million.

Five residents invested $8.8 million in the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, and more than $125.6 million in Mingachevir (1 resident) and Pirallahi (5 residents) industrial parks.
