Ukraine's foreign trade deficit reached $11 bn for Jan-Jun

July 19, Fineko/abc.az. Ukraine imported goods for $30.4 bn and exported for $19.4 bn for Jan-Jun 2023, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Ukrainian State Customs Service.

According to the Committee, 67% of imported goods were machinery, equipment and transport for $8.9 bn. Fuel and energy goods were imported for $5.8 bn and chemical industry products for $5.5 bn.

At that, the main suppliers of goods to Ukraine were China - $4.7 bn, Poland - $3.2 bn and Türkiye - $2.4 bn.

The main export item of Ukraine was food products - $11.7 bn. Ukraine also exported metals and products from them for $2.1 bn, machinery and equipment for $1.6 bn.

The main destinations of Ukrainian exports were Poland - $2.7 bn, Romania - $1.9 bn, and China - $1.6 bn.
