July 12, Fineko/abc.az. The resident status was assigned to 11 business entities with a total investment of more than AZN 27 million in Yevlakh pilot agropark, created as part of the integration of medium-sized farms into the agro-industrial cluster.

ABC.AZ reports that six residents have already carried out sowing operations on an area of 132 hectares.

Of them, 102 hectares are occupied by orchards, 20 hectares are vegetables, and 10 hectares are seedlings. It is planned to attract more than AZN 100 million of private investment to the agropark, located on an area of 2,855 hectares.

Within the framework of the Azerbaijani-Israeli partnership, a poultry farm with annual production capacity of 16.5 million breeding eggs will be created in the agropark. It is also planned to lay pomegranate, almond, palm, grape, olive, quince, cherry orchards, develop non-traditional gardening. The annual production capacity of the agropark after full launch will be about AZN 40 million.
