July 6, Fineko/abc.az. Threads, a competitor of social network Twitter, registered more than 10 million users in the first 7 hours after the launch.

ABC.AZ reports that Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg announced this on his Threads page.

Zuckerberg expects Threads to have more than 1 bn users over time.

Threads can currently be downloaded in about 100 countries, but not in the European Union due to regulatory issues.

The BBC notes that, according to experts, Threads can attract Twitter users dissatisfied with Musk's latest changes.
