July 5, Fineko/abc.az. The main purpose of the amendments to the Law on Medicines is to increase the range of medicines and ensure their availability. Based on the order of the Ministry of Health, the Tariff Council will revise the prices of medicines.
ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Health Rasim Ismayilov said about this at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis Health Committee.
Speaking about the regulation of prices for medicines in the country, the deputy minister noted that changes to the law are important for citizens.
He added that the regulation of drug prices varies depending on the country.
"The difference is that the sale of medicines is carried out not by the choice of the buyer, but on the recommendation of doctors or a pharmacist," Ismayilov stressed.
