June 24, Fineko/abc.az. The banks increased the portfolio of business loans by 2.9% up to AZN 11.17 bn or 54.1% of the total loan portfolio.

ABC.Z reports that in May banks’ portfolio on business loans grew by AZN 62.8 million.

The portfolio of banks’ consumer loans for Jan-May increased by 8.2% up to AZN 6.2 bn, the share - 30.1%. In May, the portfolio of banks on consumer loans grew by AZN 152.2 million.

The banks in Azerbaijan increased their mortgage loan portfolio by 9.3% up to AZN 3.26 bn or 15.8% of banks’ total loan portfolio. In May, the banks' mortgage lending portfolio observed growth of AZN 64.7 million.

Azerbaijan numbered 24 licensed banks as of May 31, 2023.
