June 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan space agency Azerkosmos (under the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport) exported satellite telecom and optical satellite services for $7.8 million to 42 countries.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the June issue of the Export Review, presented by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

According to the document, this is by 9 countries more and $3 million (27.8%) less against Jan-May 2022.

Over Jan-May 2023, Azerkosmos' export revenues made up 77% of total revenues.

Top 5 of exports includes the UK with $2.2 million, Luxembourg - $1.7 million, UAE - $690,000, Germany - $431,000 and Pakistan - $363,000.

Just last month, Azerkosmos exported services to 40 countries of the world for $1.6 million. This is by 9 countries and $700,000 (30.4%) less than a year ago.
