June 23, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan for Jan-May 2023 received net profit of AZN 437.1 million.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that this is 31.9% more against Jan-May 2022.

Banks' operating income amounted to AZN 1.866 bn (27.9% more than a year ago), operating expenses – AZN 1.195 bn (27.6% more), transfers to special reserves – AZN 127.8 million (8.4% more), windfall income – AZN 300,000, and income tax payments – AZN 106.1 million (45.15%).
