Russia's international reserves grew by $1.8 bn in a week

June 23, Fineko/abc.az. Russia's international reserves as of June 16, 2023 amounted to $587.5 bn, a rise of $1.8 bn for the week.

The Bank of Russia informs that as of June 16 international reserves totaled $587.5 bn, having increased by $1.8 bn, or 0.3%, for the week, mainly due to positive revaluation.

As of June 9, the reserves amounted to $585.7 bn.

International reserves, which are highly liquid foreign assets at the disposal of the Bank of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation, consist of funds in foreign currency, special drawing rights, a reserve position in the IMF and monetary gold.
