These companies to be excluded from purchases

June 22, Fineko/abc.az. If cases of fraud are found in the procurement, suppliers will be suspended from the procurement.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the new Draft Law on Public Procurement, discussed at today’s meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

According to the draft, if the procurement commission finds that the supplier has provided a false document and (or) procurement information, it excludes this supplier from procurement in accordance with this law and sends information (documents) about him in the appropriate manner.

If it is established after the conclusion of the contract that the supplier has provided a false document and (or) procurement information, the procuring entity will send information (documents) about this in the appropriate manner.

At that, according to the draft law, unreliable suppliers will be identified.
