Population lowers spending on pharmaceutical products by 15% for Jan-May

June 21, Fineko/abc.az. AZN 512 million were spent on pharmaceutical products and medical supplies in retail outlets of Azerbaijan for Jan-May 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, this figure is 15% or AZN 66.7 million less versus Jan-May 2022.

In May 2023, the amount of finances spent in retail outlets on pharmaceutical products and medical supplies reached AZN 112.5 million.

2.5% of the funds spent by consumers in the retail chain were spent on the purchase of pharmaceutical products and medicines.
