June 21, Fineko/abc.az. The rating of expensive cities for foreigners has been published.

ABC.AZ reports that the rating was published by newspaper South China Morning Post.

Baku ranks 177th in the ranking. Other countries of the South Caucasus - Armenia - 141st place and Georgia - 181st.

The most expensive cities for foreign specialists this year were Hong Kong, Singapore and Zurich.

According to a study by consulting firm Mercer, Hong Kong tops the ranking table for the second year in a row. The Swiss took the most places in Top 10 of the most expensive cities: in addition to Zurich, Geneva (4th), Basel (5th) and Bern (7th) were included in the list.

New York took 6th place, and Tel Aviv, Copenhagen and the capital of the Bahamas Nassau closed Top 10.

The authors of the rating named Tashkent, Ankara, Dushanbe, Bishkek and Havana among the cheapest cities for foreigners.
