June 14, Fineko/abc.az. Turkish payment system Turan Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi (Turan) is planning to obtain a license to operate in Azerbaijan, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Edgar Abdullayev, CEO at United Payment LLC
According to Abdullayev, Turan Teknology LLC has already been established in Azerbaijan.
"After the adoption of the relevant legislative acts by the regulatory body of Azerbaijan, we’ll begin to render e-wallet services. After Azerbaijan, we plan to open Turan representative offices in other Turkic-speaking countries, in particular in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. We believe this will bring the economy of our countries closer, as well as simplify the transfer of money between Turkic-speaking countries," he emphasized.
